Screen saver while the client gaming station, SmartKiosk and SmartLock TV is idle.
How to set it up?
The Screen saver is set up on all devices in the settings:
- Enter the Admin panel in the Manager role.
- Select the Settings tab, then Customization.
- Select Shell, SmartKiosk or SmartLock TV tab.
- Enable the Screen saver when idle slider.
- Set the delay before the screen saver launch.
- In the preview window, upload an image or video.
Limitations for uploading:
- Static screen saver:
Acceptable format .jpeg, .jpg, .png;
Max size 2 MB. - Dynamic screen saver:
Acceptable format .mp4 .webm;
Max size 30 MB.
IMPORTANT!
SmartKiosk
- The screen saver automatically starts in 3 minutes after the device is idle.
SmartLock TV
- Static screen savers only.
- Custom screen savers are only available with the Business subscription.
- The screen saver starts after the screen is locked.
Why is the gaming station number not displayed?
If the gaming station number is not displayed, you need to specify its position in the Admin panel:
- Open the Gaming stations or Map tab in Manager mode.
- Click on the desired gaming station with the RMB.
- From the menu, select PC control, then Edit.
- Set the ordinal number of the PC.
Why is the video not displayed?
For correct work you need fresh drivers for the videocard and a codec for playing mp4 and webm. A basic K-Lite codec will do. You can download it via link K‐Lite Codec Pack Basic.
After installation, reboot the client PC and the splash screen will work.
