Step 5. Shop and Warehouse accounting

A shop in SmartShell is represented as the sale of goods and services. Let's look at how to create cards for these items, how to register goods, and how to write it off in other cases.

 

You can start viewing and editing all goods by clicking on the corresponding section in the menu: Goods and Services → Goods.

Goods

List of All Goods

Goods are listed in the order of their creation/editing — the newest ones are at the bottom.

  1. List of all goods.
  2. List of goods groups.
  3. Export the list of goods in .CSV format.
  4. Add an item button.
  5. Item image.
  6. Item title.
  7. Goods group.
  8. Indicator of applicability of gaming center's discounts to the item.
  9. Remainder of goods in stock.
  10. Purchase price of an item.
  11. Selling price of an item.
  12. Remaining inventory cost of the goods.
  13. Display of goods in the Shell.

Creating/editing an item

By clicking the add item button or double-clicking on the Item card, the item creation/editing screen will open.

 

  1. Title.
    From 2 to 50 Unicode characters.
  2. Price. 
    Selling and purchase price. Any number from 0 to 999,999, including fractions up to three decimal points.
  3. Barcode. Optional.
    13 characters. Allows you to sell items by scanning a barcode.
  4. Discount Applicability.
    Determines whether the Operator will be able to assign any of the created discounts to the goods when they are being sold.
  5. Group of goods. Optional. 
    Adds an item to a specific goods group.
  6. Display item in the Shell. Optional.
    A client will be able to view this item in the client Shell.
  7. Item Description. Optional.
    Here you can add a description for the item or leave a comment.
  8. Photo of the item. 
    JPG or PNG file, size: 248x248 px.

All the required fields must be filled in correctly for successful creation/editing of the Goods.

 

How to register or remove goods

Right-click on an item and select Register goods in the context menu. After clicking on this function, a modal window will appear. Here you can:

  • Select an operation:
    1. Add – adding to the current remaining.
    2. Write-off – removing from the current remaining.
  • Add goods and enter the quantity to be added/written off.
  • Add a comment about the operation performed. Optional.
    After a successful Add/Write-off operation, the corresponding record will appear in the Logs section.

 

Services

List of all services

Services are arranged according to the order of their creation/editing – the most recent ones are at the bottom.

  1. Title of the service.
  2. Price of the service.
  3. Indicator of applicability of club discounts to this service.
  4. New service adding button.

Creating/editing a service

Clicking on the service adding button or double-clicking on the card will open the screen of creating/editing a service.

 

  1. Title.
    From 2 to 50 Unicode characters.
  2. Price.
    Any number from 0 to 999,999, including fractional up to three decimal places.
  3. Barcode. Optional.
    13 characters. Allows the item to be sold by scanning a barcode.
  4. Discount Applicability.
    Determines whether the Operator will be able to assign any of the created discounts to the Goods at the time of Sale.

All required fields must be correctly filled out to successfully create/edit a Service.

Combo sets

List of all combo sets

Combo sets are arranged according to the order of their creation/editing – the most recent are at the bottom.

 

  1. Title.
  2. Zone to which the combo set can be applied (You cannot choose a zone without a rate in the combo set. All zones will be available).
  3. Quantity of combo sets (Depends on the number of stock items included in the combo set).
  4. Basic cost outside of the combo set.
  5. Selling price of the combo set.

Creating/editing a combo set

Clicking on the Create Combo set button (6) or double-clicking on the card will open the Combo set creation\modifying screen.

  1. Title
    From 2 to 50 Unicode characters.
  2. Zone
    To which gaming station group the combo set applies.
  3. Rate
    The possibility to add a rate to the combo set. Only one fixed or package rate can be added. Its price cannot be reduced. To select a rate, you should select a zone first.
  4. Item
    The possibility to add an item to the combo set. You can add several goods. You can reduce the price of these goods in a combo set. The number of combo sets will be limited by the amount of goods in stock.
  5. Service
    The possibility to add a service to the combo set. You can add several services.
  6. Discount Applicability
    Determines whether the Operator will be able to assign any of the created discounts to the combo set when the combo set is being sold.

To successfully create/modify a combo set, a minimum of 2 of any set components must be added. You cannot add more than one rate.
A combo set will not be available for sale if:

  • The rate included in the combo set is not available now.
  • One of the combo set item's stock balance is less than what is required to sell the combo set.
