How is a map different from a table of gaming stations?
What does a table of gaming stations look like?
The list is divided by existing equipment groups, with each column showing a different purpose:

Order number – up to 3 numeric characters.

PC name – up to 12 characters.

Status – technical status of the computer.

Active Session – the computer is running a user session (not necessarily a registered user)

Turned on – the computer is on and not busy.

Turned Off – the computer is switched off.

In service – the computer is not available to open sessions.

No connection – there is a session on the computer, but the Shell has either lost connection or is deactivated.

- Availability of reservations.

The user who is currently logged in on the computer.

Name of the tariff the client is currently using.

Session start time.

Planned session end time.
-
How many hours are left until the scheduled end time.

The application that the client is currently using.

SmartShell Client version installed on this PC.
Adding a group and game stations
Groups are the rooms of your gaming center, in order to customize the pass and add stations click on the Create group button in the upper right corner.
You can also create standalone game stations (for consoles, air hockey or virtual reality zones), to do this click on Add PC on the Computers tab and click on a free cell on the Map tab.
What does the map look like?
On the screen you can find:
- A PC grid with the ability to turn on disabled PCs.
- PC grid with the ability to switch on shutdown PCs
- "Off" - the computer is turned off.
- "On" - the computer is turned on, but there is no session on the PC.
- "Active session" - active game session of the client is in progress.
- "Reserved" - reservation is set.
- "In service" - the computer is not available to open sessions.
- "Configuration has been changed" - the PC has changed configuration.
- "High access" - the Shell editing mode is open on the client PC.
- "No connection" - when more than one minute has passed since the last ping of the server from the host according to the time of the computer from which the card is opened. In this case you should check if the computer is switched off or if the shell is hung on it, but there is a session there.
- "Shell is deactivated" - the SmartShell Client has been deactivated, the Windows desktop is open on the PC.

"Locked" - the client has locked the PC.

Management of gaming stations
Technical status
When you click on the selected computer, the right panel of the computer status is displayed, you can find information about:
- Processor model
- Total RAM
- Video card model
- Hard disk model
- Disk space occupancy status
- MAC address of the computer
- Active application on this computer
- Comment left on the selected computer
- Configuration change of the PC
Changing PC configuration
The configuration status of a computer running SmartShell Client is sent to the server on each start. If the configuration is changed, a notification in the admin panel will appear when clicking on this computer and will require confirmation from the manager.
Also, notification of configuration changes will come to the telegram group, if you have this feature enabled.
When you create a new host, no action is required, the configuration information of the system unit will be downloaded automatically.
Session and PC status management
Some functions may be unavailable. This depends on your role and whether you have an active cash shift open.
1. Select a Pass
Using this option, you can sell a pass for the selected PC.
2. Replenish deposit
Using this option, you can replenish the deposit for the client who is logged in on the selected PC.
3. Booking system
If you hover over a menu item, you can make a reservation, as well as see the list of already created reservations.

4. Penalty
It is impossible to penalize the per-minute pass, as well as to cancel an already imposed penalty. The client will receive text and audio notification of the penalty.
5. Transfer
Using this option you can move a user from one seat to another within the same group of computers.
When you click on this button, the following window opens:
6. End session
Clicking on the selected computer sends a command to log off the user no matter what.
7. Notifications
The administrator can send a message with his text to the selected computer.
8. Power Supply
Remote power on, power off and rebooting.
9. PC Control
The PC control unit consists of:
- Service mode on/off – the mode in which a session (client and guest) cannot be placed during an active client session.
- Connect to PC – remote connection to a PC for control.
- View Screen – remote connection to a PC for screen viewing,
- Logout – switch to Windows logon window, if the Shell has not been deactivated, Shell will start after logon.
- Execute – remote launch of programs, in order to launch the required file, type the path to it in the opened window.
- Note about PC – you may leave a comment.
- Edit – ability to change the name and group this PC is in (cannot be set during an active client session).
- Delete – removes the host from the admin panel (cannot be set during an active client session).
Important note!
It is highly recommended not to delete a host from the control panel without deactivating the Shell.
10. Shell
The shell unit consists of:
- Share logs – sends logs of the Shell events to technical support.
- Update Shell – remote upgrade.
- High access – remotely enable the shell editing mode.
- Disable Shell – remote deactivation of the Shell.
Frequently asked questions
How to assign a color to a group on the gaming station map?
To do this, you need to edit the group profile.
- Click on the Gaming stations tab.
- Click on the gear wheel on the line with the group name.
- Select a color from the preset ones in the opened window.
Done! Now the game stations in this group in the enabled state will be displayed in the selected color.
Why do all PCs show 0 on the map?
The map now displays not the name of the PC, but its position. In order to set it you need to:
- Open the Gaming stations or Map tab with manager rights.
- Click on the desired free game place.
- In the menu select PC Control, then Edit.
- Set the position of the PC.
